Output:

An output rating of 5V (Volts) and 3A (Amps) is required for The Bat Cozy® to achieve maximum operating temperatures resulting in optimal performance. Care should be taken to ensure 5V/3A power bank specifications are for the “output” and not the “input” (i.e.  recharging capability). The Bat Cozy® utilizes a standard USB Type “A” connection.

Any output rating lower than 5V/3A is not recommended as it may not deliver sufficient energy for proper operation.

Capacity:

The milliampere-hour (mAh) is a measurement of electrical charge that is used to determine battery capacity. Larger capacity power banks (i.e. larger mAh number) will power The Bat Cozy® for longer durations before needing to be recharged. Individual results will vary based on usage time, ambient temperature, beginning charge level, battery age, etc.
